Abhay Divakaruni is an explorer of expression. Graduating as the 2012 Valedictorian from Clements High School, he is also a self-taught dancer. Inspired to disseminate the joy he receives from dance, Abhay helped create and grow Clements Rhythm, a hip hop dance club, and has served as President of Rhythm for two years, teaching choreography and performing at multiple school events. In addition, he was President of Clements English Honor Society, a group of young artists and culturists brought closer through their appreciation of art. He will be attending the University of Texas at Austin this fall as a Forty Acres Scholar and will be enrolled in the Business Honors Program and Plan II Honors.
