Hacking Education

Should students learn cursive writing? What about spelling? Technology has created a vacuum of knowledge and skill sets once taught in schools. As technology eats away at traditional educational practices, benefits and new skills surface. In this 21st century, defining standards, practices, and goals is paramount.

 

As a native of Sugar Land, TX, John Evans has always found the crossover between education and technology fascinating. With a B. A in English and an M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction, John is able to apply this fascination while teaching English at Grace School in Houston. When not teaching, he spends his time reading fiction and playing with his son.
